How to Install ipmitool software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

ipmitool software package provides utility for IPMI control with kernel driver or LAN interface, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ipmitool 

ipmitool is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ipmitool package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ipmitool *
